Study on Speed Planning of Signalized Intersections with Autonomous Vehicles Considering Regenerative Braking

In order to reduce the energy consumption caused by frequent braking of vehicles at signalized intersections, an optimized speed trajectory control method is proposed, based on recovery efficiency (BERE) in connection with automated system for vehicle real-time interaction roadside facilities and regional central control. Our objectives were as follows; firstly, establish simulation model hybrid regenerative (HERBS) verify it bench test. Secondly, build up genetic algorithm (GA) optimization deceleration stopping HERBS. Then, obtain signal light status timing information be constraints; BERE objective, resulting under condition a single intersection. Finally, simulations ADVISOR software are utilized validate results. The results show that during intersection after 36.21% higher than inexperienced drivers, 7.82% experienced drivers.
